The
Parsonage Road Area, immediately to the east of Withington
village centre, consists predominantly of large Victorian
and Edwardian houses, with large gardens providing a
valuable habitat for wildlife. The main development of the
area took place in the 1880s, but there are some Edwardian
houses, and some more recent developments.
