Withington history
Parsonage Road area

The Parsonage Road Area, immediately to the east of Withington village centre, consists predominantly of large Victorian and Edwardian houses, with large gardens providing a valuable habitat for wildlife. The main development of the area took place in the 1880s, but there are some Edwardian houses, and some more recent developments.

This is a collection of photographs recording the streets, buildings, gardens and architectural features of the area, taken in the 1990s  Click on each image for a full-size view.
